## Choose the problem to solve

### Battery backup without solar

ICE charges the battery while grid power is available. When an outage occurs, the inverter switches automatically and supplies the household circuits selected during system design. Solar can be added later.

### Solar with battery backup

Solar powers household use during daylight and charges the battery. Stored energy can be used after sunset and during power outages, reducing the electricity purchased from ICE. Suntiago Energy does not install grid-feed-in systems and does not claim that customers can sell excess electricity to ICE.

Local service is available in Santa Teresa, Mal País, Santiago, Cóbano and Montezuma, Puntarenas, Costa Rica.

## How a project starts

Share the property location, recent ICE bills, outage experience and the appliances that must remain powered. Suntiago Energy then inspects the property and electrical installation before proposing inverter, battery and solar capacity. Every price, runtime and saving estimate depends on the individual property and consumption profile.
